A fresh and innovative era in analogue consoles has arrived with the much-anticipated Custom Series 75 set to make its debut reveal later this month at the SAE Alumni Convention held in Berlin.
Accomplished audio engineer, producer and founder of SAE Institute Dr Tom Misner will unveil the model on October 14 to an audience of avid industry professionals and audio enthusiasts at the annual networking event.
Included in the special features of the new Neve-powered console is the ability to operate as a voltage-summing console (the traditional Neve way) and as a current summing console (as with other renowned brands). This unique combination enables the generation a warm ‘Neve’ sound during recording sessions, as well as the tight sound of other famous analogue consoles during mixing.
The manufactures of the Custom Series 75 have established an online program where you can design and customize your console, including choosing different types of leather, wood panels, customizing the frame size, the number of channels, among many other functions intended to fit your needs and budget.
If you’re in Berlin on the 14th be sure to attend the convention and check out the exclusive release for yourself otherwise, stay tuned and be sure to your eye on this website.
